(Belcourt, ND) — The Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa’s tribal council has approved an emergency plan to support programs affected by the government shutdown. Chairman Jamie Azure signed the plan to allocate funds to service programs Wednesday afternoon. He says the tribe will work with local schools to support those affected by the shutdown. The plan goes into effect on November 3rd.
