(New Town, ND) — Most charges are being dismissed in a New Town apartment fire. Chose Joran Morsette pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Six counts of endangering by fire or explosion-danger or death or bodily injury were dismissed as part of the plea agreement. According to court documents, Morsette was accused of setting a basket of clothes on fire inside an apartment unit on August 25th. Morsette was sentenced to five years with the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
