(Sioux Falls, SD) — South Dakota Public Broadcasting will retain seven of its 15 layoff positions. The company announced in August that it would be reducing its workforce by 25 percent as a result of federal funding cuts to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. SD-PB says it was able to keep half of the affected positions because of private donations and savings.
