(Minot, ND) — The MHA tribe announces a new greenhouse to grow produce. Tribal chairman Mark Fox spoke to the Minot City Council on Monday to make the announcement. The Native Green Grow is proposed to have over 400-thousand feet of growing space. Fox said, it plans to produce around two-million pounds of food annually. He said the plan is for grocery stores to be stocked with strawberries, cucumbers, lettuce and other produce from the greenhouse.
