(Duluth, MN) — Police are suspecting a group home driver of being drunk and high while going 100 miles per hour before crashing. The suspect is 19-year-old Michael Edward Rahja Junior, and he worked for TBI Residential and Community Services. Rahja has two passengers in the car during his alleged two-hour drive that ended with seriously injuring the driver of another car. According to the charges, after the crash, Rahja called a co-worker, admitted to crashing the van and said he had to go because he was afraid of being caught. He is now facing charges of criminal vehicular operation, leaving the scene of a crash involving injury, underage drinking and others.
