(Washington, DC) — Senator Mike Rounds says the spending bill to reopen the government includes nearly 22-million dollars he requested for South Dakota projects. They include funding construction at Ellsworth Air Force Base for future B-21 bombers. Other earmarks will go toward a new maintenance hangar at Joe Foss Field and renovations at South Dakota State University. The Senate passed the bill Monday night and the House is expected to vote on it sometime today.
