(Bismarck, ND) — Former District 31 legislator Jim Schmidt seeks to return to the North Dakota House of Representatives. Schmidt previously served District 31 from 2011 to 2022 and he will now seek election to the same district. He said his decision to run again stems from his continued commitment to protecting North Dakota’s way of life, local control and responsible spending. Schmidt lives in Huff, where he and his family operate a century-old farm and ranch.
