(Sioux Falls, SD) — A Mission Hill man is headed to prison after being sentenced for an Iowa sex crime. The Sioux County Iowa attorney says Daniel Alvarado pleaded guilty Monday to a sexual abuse charge and was sentenced to an indeterminate time. The 23-year-old will serve no more than five years for sexually assaulting a minor multiple times in April of 2024. He must also register as a sex offender after his release.
