(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Department of Agriculture is inviting K-through-12 public schools to apply for a grant that provides hydroponic gardens in classrooms. Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil. Schools selected for the program will receive a complete hydroponic garden system to incorporate into lessons in science, technology, engineering and math. Applications must be submitted electronically by Monday December 8th and the chosen schools will be notified by December 15th.
