(Bismarck, ND) — Governor Kelly Armstrong is signing a proclamation for Hunger and Homelessness awareness week. It began yesterday on November 16th and will run through Saturday, November 22nd. The proclamation was signed and released alongside the announcement of a new council that was formed to address homelessness in North Dakota. A study released by North Dakota Health and Human Services earlier this year found that 21-thousand people experienced homelessness at one point during a three-year period.
