(Fort Totten, ND) — The FBI is investigating after human remains were found on Sunday during a family-organized search for missing Spirit Lake tribal member Isaac Hunt. The Bureau of Indian Affairs and local law enforcement are assisting as needed. As of now, the location of the remains hasn’t been released so authorities can investigate. Law enforcement also wants to reiterate that no identification of the remains have been made. Hunt has been missing since March of 2024.
