(Rapid City, SD) — A spokesperson with Lead Volunteer Fire says they prevented a small fire Friday from getting out of control because it was reported quickly. The small fire had already spread onto an area of vegetation and yard equipment. Authorities want to remind the public as temperatures cool, fire danger still remains.
