(Rapid City, SD) — Governor Rhoden is officially launching his campaign to remain in office. He made the announcement at a Rapid City hotel yesterday saying he’s running for a full term as governor of South Dakota. Rhoden was elected lieutenant governor alongside Governor Kristi Noem in 2018 and reelected in 2022. He took over as governor in January when Noem became homeland security secretary.
