MHA Nation and ND School Hosts First-Ever Assembly About Indigenous Culture.

(Killdeer, ND) — The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation and Killdeer High School hosts the first-ever assembly about indigenous culture. MHA borders Killdeer and the district has about indigenous 85 students. This is the first time the two neighboring communities have held a partnership like this before. Two history teachers at the school contacted Jessica Howling Wolf seeking authentic cultural education for their students. Howling Wolf worked with the MHA Nation to create an educational and immersive assembly for the students.
