(Fargo, ND) — A Fargo-based battery manufacturing company is being awarded millions of dollars to ramp up domestic battery manufacturing capacity. The 50-million-dollar award will enable the company to expand production lines at its Badland Batteries manufacturing facility in Frog. This will help the company to meet the demand for high-power battery packs for unmanned systems operated by the Army, Navy, Air Force and Special Forces. The funding comes from the Accelerate the Procurement and Fielding of Innovative Technologies Program.
