(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota is on track to become the first state with 100 percent broadband coverage. North Dakota Information Technology announced that the state has received federal approval for the state’s final Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment plan. This means the state will be able to release federal funds to broadband providers, leading North Dakota to be the first state in the country with 100 percent broadband access. The project should be complete by late 2027 or early 2028.
