(Bismarck, ND) — A motorist is in custody after trying to outdrive and outrun officers in Bismarck on Wednesday. An officer attempted to pull over Pedro Young after discovering his license was suspended. According to court documents, Young sped away and crashed into a stop sign in the Stanford hospital parking lot, before continuing towards a school where he hit a parked car. He was arrested after a short foot chase through the neighborhood and charged with driving under suspension, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and fleeing a police officer, among other crimes.
