(FARGO, ND) — All four Dakota teams are set to play in the second round of the FCS Football Playoffs this weekend. Top ranked North Dakota State is set to begin its quest for a second straight title. After receiving a first-round bye in the FCS playoffs, the Bison are back in action Saturday when they host Illinois State at the FargoDome.
Meantime, North Dakota is set to travel to Tarleton State for their second round matchup. The Fighting Hawks got a win in the first round last weekend over Tennessee Tech 31-6. For South Dakota, the Coyotes will travel to Macon, Georgia for their second round matchup with Mercer. And South Dakota State will travel west to visit Montana. It will be the third consecutive season the Jackrabbits and Grizzlies have met in the playoffs.
