(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota Senators Kevin Cramer and John Hoeven are sharing statements in support of the Trump Administration’s decision to repeal a Biden-era rule. The rule imposed staffing requirements in long-term care centers that offer Medicare or Medicaid. Senator Cramer celebrated the appeal, calling it a major win for patients, providers, and every rural community that depends on accessible, local long-term care. In a press release, Senator Hoeven backed his previous opposition, saying “the one size-fits-all approach would’ve reduced access to long-term care in rural areas by forcing providers to shut down when they were unable to comply.”
