(Minot, ND) — A Stanley man will serve as the new member for the state ethics commission. Mark Western was appointed to the position in November by the governor and representatives from the Senate. The commission keeps the state government transparent and accountable. Western has served in numerous leadership positions and is a lawyer with Fremstad Law Firm in Fargo. Commissioners serve a one-year term.
