(Watford City, ND) — The North Dakota Department of Transportation awards contracts to expand Highway 85. A contract worth more than 83-million was awarded to Park Construction out of Minneapolis. It’s expected to be a three-year project to fix five-and-a-half miles south of the Long X Bridge. Another contract of more than 61-million dollars was awarded to Strata out of Grand Forks. It covers a two-year project to fix 12-and-a-half miles from the Badlands to Highway 200.
