First GOP Governor’s Straw Poll Shows Qualls And Demuth As Frontrunners

(Undated) — A recent poll shows that former healthcare executive Kendall Qualls is the front runner in a crowded Republican field for Minnesota governor. The study was conducted over the weekend by the Republican Party of Minnesota. Qualls had 93 votes from 93 GOP delegates and Minnesota Speaker of the House Lisa Demuth was not far behind with 90 votes. MyPillow CEO and President Trump ally Mike Lindell finished third. The Republican nominee is expected to face off against DFL incumbent Governor Tim Walz next fall.
