(Minot, ND) — Minot City Works Department is changing its sand truck set up. Fleet Manager Chuck Schmidt said the decision was made to address safety and efficiency concerns. So far one truck has been updated and six more trucks are scheduled to be updated in the next 30 days. Each upgrade will cost about four-thousand dollars. Schmidt says truck operators will not have to go under their trucks to make hydraulic connections once the upgrades are finished.
