(Sioux Falls, SD) — A new hotel and Orthopedic Hospital at Sanford Health will open on January 12th. The new structure is sandwiched between the Sanford Children’s Hospital and Surgical Tower in Sanford Health’s main Sioux Falls campus. The expansion adds 12 operating rooms and 56 new hotel rooms for patients or anyone in need of a place to stay. A new 13-thousand-pound MRI machine is also part of the addition. It will allow doctors to perform scans without stopping surgery.
