(Sioux Falls, SD) — A jury finds a Sioux Falls man innocent in a 2024 murder case. Edward Brinkley was accused of second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter of Richard Sowers in March of 2024. He was found innocent after a six-hour jury deliberation on Monday. The trial started last week. Brinkley could have faced life in prison if he was found guilty of murder.
