Blizzard Warning in Effect Through Thursday Afternoon

(Grand Forks, ND) — A Blizzard Warning is in effect in eastern North Dakota through 6 p.m. Thursday. Meteorologists expect two-to-five inches of snow with winds up to 70 miles per hour. The National Weather Service says the conditions make travel close to impossible and drivers should hit the roads for emergencies only. The Blizzard Warning is in effect for the Red River Valley and Devils Lake Basin. The wind chill could bring temperatures to negative-30 degrees.
