(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings won’t have their most versatile defensive player for the rest of the season. The team placed safety Josh Metellus on injured reserve yesterday. Metellus is expected to have season-ending surgery on an injured shoulder later this week. The sixth-year defensive back has two interceptions and a half sack this season. The Vikings visit the Giants on Sunday.
