(Minneapolis, MN) — The Joe Pohlad-era of Minnesota Twins baseball is coming to an end. The Twins announced yesterday that Joe’s brother Tom Pohlad will take over as the controlling owner of the team. Tom is the nephew of former Twins chairman Jim Pohlad and grandson of Carl Pohlad. Minnesota also announced that the venture capital firm Glick Family Investments, Minneapolis business leader George Hicks, and Wild owner Craig Leipold are all set to become minority owners of the franchise.
