(Rapid City, SD) — There’s widespread wind damage in Rapid City and the Black Hills. Just after midnight Thursday, 100 mile-per-hour winds blew through the area, overturning trees and damaging signs. There are also reports of trampolines tossed out of backyards. There are no reports of injuries but some 20-thousand customers lost power. While some people had the electricity back on last night, it may take days for others to get their power back.
