(Sturgis, SD) — South Dakota Highway Patrol officials say a semi-truck driver is suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being involved in a crash in Sturgis Friday. A vehicle turned onto a lane and started to drive slowly which caused the semi driver to slam on his brakes and roll onto its side. Officials say the semi was hauling 37 head of cattle and some escaped and ran on the interstate but all were caught and loaded into other trailers. The vehicle driver is o.k. and no other injuries were reported.
