(West Fargo, ND) — Funding for MATBUS is being approved by West Fargo city commissioners for 2026. About 450-thousand dollars will be sent to the transit provider after promises to improve routes and add shelters in the city were upheld. City leaders asked the service to add more grocery stores to its routes in April. Mayor Bernie Dardis said the city would not contribute to the transit system if changes were not implemented. The transit system also receives funding from Fargo, Moorhead and North Dakota State University.
