(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Multi-Cultural Center in Sioux Falls is facing an uncertain future. The City of Sioux Falls notified LSS South Dakota on Friday it’s ending financial support for the center at the end of the year. The city gave the center 146-thousand dollars this year with the money going toward interpreter services, workforce development and youth programs. LSS has run the center since 2022. Its CEO says the sudden end of funding is a blow the program can’t absorb.
