(Bismarck, ND) — The Department of Mineral Resources says a record number of oil wells are active in North Dakota. The number of active wells in the state increased to 19-thousand-625 in October, 67 more than September. More than one-point-16 million barrels of oil were produced per day in the state. The North Dakota market averaged 53-dollars and 36-cents per barrel in October, which was almost 10-percent below revenue forecasts.
