North Dakota Ranks Among Worst States For Package Thefts

(Minot, ND) — A new report says North Dakota is among the worst states for package thefts. A rise in online shopping makes it easier to get what you want, but it also makes it easier for porch pirates to steal. The Minot Police Department says they see thefts year round but there is a notable increase during the holidays. The report from Security-dot-org says people living in condos and apartments are three-times as likely to have packages stolen. More than eight-billion dollars worth of goods have been stolen nationwide over the past year.
