State House Bill Would Give Tax Breaks To Data Centers

(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota lawmakers are considering a bill that would give tax breaks to data centers operating in the state. House Bill 1005 would exempt data centers from sales and use taxes on certain equipment and services. The exemption could last up to 50 years for businesses that qualify.
