(Underwood, ND) — The city of Underwood is under a do-not-use-water advisory after a main water break caused a lot of pressure. The city warns that tap water poses a potential health threat and shouldn’t be used for drinking, bathing, washing hands, dishes, or laundry. They also say boiling the water won’t break down any contaminants. The water main broke early Monday morning and drained the city’s water towers. City officials are hoping to have water restored by Monday, January 5th at the earliest.
