Evolution Ag Summit Set for Feb. 17

(JAMESTOWN, N.D.) – “Linking Soil to Supper” is the focus of the fourth annual Evolution Ag Summit, set for Feb. 17 in Jamestown. Hosted by North Dakota Farmers Union, the event will address evolving food policies and growing consumer trends that impact farmers, ranchers and food.

“Consumer tastes and an evolving regulatory landscape are driving shifts in food demand,” said North Dakota Farmers Union President Matt Perdue. “This event is all about helping farmers and ranchers understand how we can leverage new opportunities and adapt to new challenges.”

Throughout the summit, experts will discuss the latest trends in agriculture and food markets, as well as the impact of MAHA regulations from farm to shelf. Networking opportunities also exist for farmers and ranchers to interact with ag industry professionals.

Keynote speaker is Lesley Kelly of High Heels and Canola Fields, who will share her lessons from the field. Representatives from Purdue University, AGT Foods USA, American Meat Science Association, Northern Crops Institute, International Food Information Council and others will be speaking.
