(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota leaders are responding to the U.S. attack on Venezuela and capture of President Nicolas Maduro. Attorney General Marty Jackley says he supports the capture of Maduro. Governor Larry Rhoden says he admires President Trump’s decisive leadership and “oftentimes, the best work is done quietly.” Federal prosecutors are charging Maduro, his wife and their adult son with drug trafficking. Having effectively been removed from power, Maduro is scheduled to make his first court appearance today.
