(Bismarck, ND) — The state is announcing an improved campaign finance reporting system. The goal is to simplify the compliance process, making it easier for candidates to accurately report financial activities. This will also offer transparency, accessibility, and accountability to the public when learning about candidates. North Dakota Secretary of State, Michael Howe, made the announcement on Thursday in Bismarck. Howe reinforced the importance of these new systems in fostering a culture of transparency.
