(Grand Forks, ND) — Vape use among students is declining after Grand Forks High School installs detectors. After a spike in write-ups and suspensions due to the devices, Associate Principal Mike Wilber said students have complied. If a student is vaping in the bathroom, school administrators will receive a silent alarm to know if a student is smoking. Wilber said the effort is worth it due to the high concentration of nicotine and THC found in vaping products.
