1 Man Shot At Casino; SWAT Team During Arrest

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Two teenagers are facing attempted murder charges following a shooting at a west-side Sioux Falls business early Sunday morning.

Police say a 32-year-old man was found shot near a casino in the 4200 block of West 12th Street. His injuries were initially considered life-threatening, but he’s now expected to survive.

Investigators tracked a suspect vehicle to a neighborhood near Axtell Park School, where a standoff led to a SWAT response and a search warrant.

Eighteen-year-old Sebastian Waters was taken into custody, along with a juvenile identified in court documents as Riley Foolbull. Both are charged with attempted murder in adult court.

Police say the shooting was targeted, not random. Court papers indicate two guns were involved — a handgun and a shotgun.

Waters remains in the Minnehaha County Jail on a 100-thousand-dollar cash-only bond. The investigation continues.
