(Pierre, SD) — Attorney General Marty Jackley plans to introduce a bill to protect children from online predators with a new tool. Allowing investigative subpoenas could allow the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force legal power to gather information to be used as critical evidence. Jackley also plans to present a bill regarding genetic data security. This in response to the 23andMe lawsuit on the exchange of genetic data without consumer permission.
