(Sioux Falls, SD) — June CopperStad says she’ll run for a seat in the South Dakota House. The current Public Safety Chair of the NAACP Sioux Falls Branch will run as a Democrat in District 15. Incumbent Kadyn Wittman is seeking re-election in the same district. Democratic Representative Erik Muckey has announced he’ll run for the South Dakota Senate. CopperStad says she’s running for the House because “our systems are leaving too many people behind.”
