(Minot, ND) — Leaders in the city of Minot and Ward County are considering combining libraries. A joint meeting between city council members and commission leaders led to conversations about funding and how to maintain services if a merger went through. A rare, joint meeting held between the two leadership groups happened on Tuesday morning at the commission chambers. They also discussed sharing county facilities like the courthouse and standardizing fees in extraterritorial parts of Minot. There’s no second meeting scheduled between the two groups.
