(Fargo, ND) — State Senator Josh Boschee says he’s running to become the next mayor of Fargo. Boschee announced his decision on Tuesday morning saying if he won the election, he would resign from the state legislature. He’s represented Fargo in the House from 2013 to 2024 and was elected to the Senate in 2024. He served three sessions as the Democratic House minority leader. Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney is ineligible to run for reelection due to term limits but his Deputy Mayor Denise Kolpack launched her mayoral campaign on Monday.
