(Williston, ND) — A former Williston Walmart employee is facing charges of stealing more than 100-thousand dollars. Mario Branch is facing a charge of felony theft with a preliminary hearing scheduled for January 28th. Investigators say he was caught at least three times hiding money from a cash recycler in an empty bag and retrieving the money later. Branch used his employee ID to withdraw the money from the recycler. Walmart Asset Protection reported the alleged crimes to Williston Police in October.
