(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota is releasing updated flu numbers. The state health department says there have been more than 39-hundred cases this season as of January 7th. There have also been 241 hospitalizations and two deaths. Compared to last year’s tracking, the case numbers are similar but there were no deaths. The two people who died were from Minnehaha County and older than 64.
