(Bismarck, ND) — Pickup truck owners are getting new vehicle registration cards to alleviate concerns of overpaying. Previous registration cards showed the double shipping weight to set registration fees, leading some owners to believe they were being taken advantage of. Now, trucks will be registered at their official weights and the amount they can carry. Lawmakers say it won’t change the cost of registration. The state registered nearly 300-thousand trucks last year.
