(Dunn County, ND) — A man is facing luring charges after an investigation by the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators say 56-year-old Shannon Geringer engaged in electronic communications with a juvenile and attempted to barter money for sex. Geringer was already on parole at the time of the alleged communications. He appeared in court on Friday. The sheriff’s office is urging parents and guardians to remain vigilant with online activity of children.
