Woman Pleads Guilty To Medicaid Fraud In Minot

(Minot, ND) — A Florida woman must pay over 225-thousand dollars in restitution for Medicaid fraud. Tera Campbell appeared in court on Tuesday, pleading guilty to one count of fraud and was sentenced to a suspended prison sentence, three years of probation, and restitution. She’s accused of charging eight clients more than 420-thousand dollars and receiving more than 225-thousand dollars in payments for services provided on dates when she was known to be traveling abroad. Campbell owned the former behavioral health facility The Olive Branch but employees say she only visited the facility twice: when it opened and when it closed. Campbell is also facing charges in Wyoming.
